The Greenwich House Music School’s Cafe Au Go Go Revisited series has been in fine form so far, and this show is one of the gems of the series. The past and future of Americana meet when bluegrass prodigy Michael Davies joins banjo legend Tony Trischka onstage. Davies has studied with some of the true bluegrass greats, including Del McCoury and Norman Blake. He’ll be right at home with Trischka, the bluegrass icon whose latest album Great Big World has us all tappin’ our feet. (You can check out our review of the album here.)
