The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame will pay tribute to the Everly Brothers with a tribute concert in Cleveland, according to Billboard. Surviving member Don Everly will be present at the performance, which is being coordinated by Grammy-winning Americana artist Rodney Crowell.
In a statement issued to the press, Don thanked the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and the group’s fanbase “for keeping the Everly Brothers alive.” He also expressed regret that his brother Phil Everly would not be there to be honored. Phil died earlier this year from complications connected to lung disease.
The lineup of performers for the Everly Brothers tribute will be announced at a later date. The performance is set to take place at the PlayhouseSquare State Theater in Cleveland on October 25th.
