Ted Nugent knows what he’s doing, for no music complements grilling, fireworks and the Fourth of July quite like his. So it is that today, on the eve of Independence Day weekend, Nugent has released “I Love My BBQ,” a new track from SHUTUP&JAM! (stream below).
Due out July 8, SHUTUP&JAM! will be Nugent’s first all-new studio album in seven years. Joining him on the new album will be Sammy Hagar and Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels drummer Johnny “Bee” Badanjek, among others.
Coinciding with today’s release of the new track, Nugent’s national tour begins tonight in Texas. While you wait for Nugent to bring his guitar (and presumably his bow and arrow) to your town (full schedule here), you can read Nugent’s thoughts on Chuck Berry, Dirty Harry and threatening to take his booking agent hostage.
Sorry but no Ted Nugent for me. He’s an embarrassment.
Like Ted cares what you think………………………………………………….
