Music legend, music pioneer and magic human being Gregg Allman passed away from liver cancer in his home today. He was 69.
Gregg began writing songs for his big brother, Duane’s band and together they formed what became the Allman Brothers Band, which helped define southern rock for nearly 50 years, long after Duane’s untimely death in 1971.
Gregg lived a life that legends are made of, and his songs will endure. Ramble on, Gregory.
