Mumford & Sons is back in action. The band has rescheduled some dates it had to cancel when bassist Ted Dwane had brain surgery to remove a blood clot. They posted new dates for New Orleans; Woodland Springs, Texas; Dallas; and Bonner Springs, KS.
“Firstly, we are pleased to report that our beloved Ted is making a steady recovery from his operation and wearing his newly acquired shaven-headed hairstyle with enviable suave,” the band wrote on their website. “A huge, huge thank you to all for your messages of support; the man himself is rather overwhelmed. Secondly, on a related note, we can now confirm details of the rescheduled dates for the recently canceled U.S. shows.”
The new dates will follow their North American tour, called “The Full English.” The Full English tour kicks off in Toronto on Aug. 26 and concludes in Simpsonville, SC, on Sept. 11. The band will be heading to the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY, for a show on Aug. 28. To see the rest of the tour dates, check out the band’s website.
