Elmore’s own Arnie Goodman literally went onstage at London’s  02 Shepherds Bush Empire to document a tribute to Jack Bruce, when the unexpected occurred.  Cream’s notoriously irascible Ginger Baker was expected to show up  in honor of his old Cream bandmate Bruce but, despite recent serious health issues, Baker actually sat in and played as well as he had nearly 50 years ago. Eric Clapton was expected, but did not show. Baker, however, gave a magnificent, heartfelt  speech on Jack Bruce and played what some think might well be his last concert,

Rumor has it that there may be another Jack Bruce tribute concert in the US within a month, but plans have not been officially announced.
