ASCAP Songwriter Residency @ America SCORES

Philly-based band, The Great Unknown, along with America SCORES kids from various cities across the United States, are releasing Other Voices, Other Rooms as part of the ASCAP Songwriter Residency @ America SCORES program. Funded by the ASCAP Foundation, students were able to learn and create music with an actual band. The result? A 5-song EP with lyrics written by America SCORES students and music by The Great Unknown, available for purchase on Tuesday, July 19. Consumers are encouraged to “name-their-own-price” and all proceeds from online purchases will be directly donated to the ASCAP Songwriter Residency @ America SCORES program. This distinctive program is a wonderfully, unique way to introduce music to kids at a young age, and spur creativity that might have gone unnoticed.
