Hey guys, it’s been a while. How’ve you been? How’s the family?
It’s been a while since the Wallflowers’ last album (Seven years to be exact… but who’s counting?), but they’re back with a new album, Glad All Over, which will be released through Columbia Records. The Wallflowers hit their stride with 1996’s Bringing Down the House. Hits like “Sixth Avenue Heartache” and “One Headlight” earned them critical acclaim and commercial success. After topping off the Billboard charts with their Grammy award-winning songs, the Wallflowers went on to release 3 albums and sell 7 million records worldwide before going on hiatus. Don’t be too hard on them though. They’ve got your back.
The band recently filmed an episode of Live from the Artist’s Den in San Francisco’s hot nightspot, Bimbo’s 365 Club. Jakob Dylan (son of Blind Boy Grunt himself) led the band through an 18-song set which featured some brand new songs as well as the oldies from their 90’s albums. They even released a video of their performance of “Reboot the Mission,” the first single off the new album.
