The new album from the Mountain Goats isn’t coming out until October 2^nd. It’s okay. Don’t cry. Really, it’s going to be all right. You can stream the new album via Rolling Stone. See, isn’t that good news? The band has also announced the second leg of its U.S. tour. Mountain Goats will be heading to New York next month and playing two dates at the Music Hall of Williamsburg and two dates at the Bowery Ballroom. The new album, Transcendental Youth, takes on the usual hard and somber themes and spikes them with a bit of hope and triumph. You can listen to it here.
