You probably need some more Blur in your life. We understand. The on-again-off-again reunion has been rough on you. But you can get some more Blur (just in time for the holidays) with Parklive, their new live album. Parklive, recorded at this summer’s Hyde Park show in London, will be a five disc CD and DVD set. Two CDs will feature the entire audio from the band’s performance at the closing ceremony of this summer’s Olympic Games. But they wouldn’t just leave you with the audio. You can also see the band play at the Games on the DVD, and with it having been shot on a dozen cameras, you’ll get the full view of the guys. The last two CDs are from Blur – Live at the 100 Club, which was also recorded at a live show they performed this summer. There will also be several other live songs the band recorded this summer, including new tracks “Under the Westway” and “The Puritan,” in addition to songs from Blur’s Wolverhampton show and the BBC Radio Maida Vale session. The collection will also come with a 60 page book full of photos from the summer shows. Basically, if you missed out on Blur this summer, you can relive the summer hits without the heat on Parklive. Parklive comes out December 3rd.
