The Killers have been forced to cancel shows on their world tour as a result of singer Brandon Flowers’ ongoing struggles with laryngitis. Two shows, one at New York’s Madison Square Garden and another at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. The band have promised to reschedule both shows, and ticketholders will have their tickets honored at the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at points of purchase.
Laryngitis has been a problem for Flowers this year; earlier in the tour, the band cut a set short after four songs because Flowers lost his voice. Other shows have been cancelled off and on since then.
The band has promised to reschedule their NYC show “very soon,” according to a message posted on their official Twitter account. No such timeframe was given for the Toronto show.
