Jack White’s Third Man Records has something exciting coming up. Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard has teamed up with Ruby Amanfu (the vocalist from Jack White’s “Love Interruption”) for a new single. The two talented ladies partnered up to do a cover of “I Wonder” by folk singer/songwriter Rodriguez. “I Wonder” will come with an acoustic version of Memphis Minnie’s “When My Man Comes Home.” If you’re keeping track of these Third Man releases, you’ll know that the recording studio released a series of archival blues recordings in January and a Valentine’s Day single by Gibby Haynes last month. The new Howard-Amanfu single will be available on March 12, with pre-orders available on Third Man Records’ website.
