Queens Of The Stone Age have finally confirmed the release of a new album after months of speculation and a leaked list of special guests. …Like Clockwork is due out this June on the band’s new label, Matador Records. It will be the band’s first new release of recorded material since 2007’s Era Vulgaris.
As previously announced, head Foo Fighter and frequent QOTSA collaborator Dave Grohl recorded drums for …Like Clockwork, and former bassist Nick Oliveri is featured on a few tracks, though he hasn’t officially rejoined the band. Other guest musicians include former QOTSA member Mark Lanegan, Elton John, Trent Reznor, and Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys.
Queens Of The Stone Age have also announced that they will support …Like Clockwork with a full tour, something that they haven’t done since 2007. As of right now, no tour dates have been officially announced.
