It was New York City. It was the ‘90s. They were five friends who had met up through their studies and mutual acquaintances. It’s a pretty simple origin story, not unlike those of many other New York bands of the time. But while other bands had the mill around with album after album before actually getting their big start, the Strokes hit the ground running with their debut album, Is This It. Now the band is preparing to release their fifth studio album, Comedown Machine, and it’s a great time for them to get nostalgic. In the new video for “All The Time,” the band looks back at its career with footage showing the band’s early days playing festivals and shows. And there are also plenty of fun clips of the guys just goofing off. The band’s looking back at the fun they’ve had, but they’re also gearing up for the future with Comedown Machine, which is due out March 26. You can watch the video for “All The Time” below.
