Last year, food and music fans in Brooklyn were given a special treat with the Great GoogaMooga Festival, a weekend-long celebration of food, drink, music, and other things that make life worth living. This year, the Great GoogaMooga is back in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, and it’s arguably even better than ever. Alongside the usual food and drink festivities, the music this year includes hometown superstars The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, beloved indie weirdos The Flaming Lips, and hair-metal revivalists The Darkness.
Other artists playing the festival this year include local singer/songwriter (and Elmore favorite) Sharon Van Etten, Matt & Kim, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Delicate Steve, and Cults.
