For the past four years, jazz-funk group Soulive have taken over Brooklyn Bowl for a week of groove and soul with an array of special guest stars. Normally, you can find these jam band icons supporting the likes of The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, and John Mayer, but for the next two weeks, it’s all about Bowlive.

Every show will have something to offer, but we’re recommending the first night of Bowlive, which features Elmore favorites The North Mississippi Allstars. Luther and Cody Dickinson have blues in their blood, and Luther’s searing guitar work makes them one of the must-see blues acts around today. A few secret guests are also slated to join the Dickinsons and Soulive; we can’t tell you who they are, but we can say that they’re not to be missed under any circumstances.

Come to Brooklyn Bowl for the bowling and the brews, but stay the extra week for the kick-ass tunes!
