Charlie Musselwhite is a staple in the world of electric blues. His harmonica has been featured with many artists including Eddie Vedder, Tom Waits, Bonnie Raitt, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Gov’t Mule, INXS, Mickey Hart, George Thorogood, John Lee Hooker and others. As a seven-time Grammy nominee, a 27-time Blues Music Award winner, an eight-time Living Blues Award winner, a  Blues Hall of Fame inductee, a Beale Street Brass Note Walk of Fame honoree and a Mississippi Blues Trail Marker honoree, Musselwhite has awards on top of awards—and for good reason. His most recent project, Get Up!, teamed him up with the talented Ben Harper. What we’re saying is that Charlie Musselwhite is someone who you want to see. Luckily, he’ll be playing three shows at Jazz at Lincoln Center on March 15 and 16.
