Black Sabbath have been teasing their new album, 13, for quite a while now. Aside from a few quotes and teaser videos, not much about the album-the first with singer Ozzy Osbourne in 35 years-has been revealed. On May 15th, though, fans will finally get a chance to hear a new song from the upcoming album…they’ll just have to watch “CSI” to do it.
The band will present “End of the Beginning” on the season finale of the show, and-according to a press statement from the band-they’ll appear on the show, as well. Executive producer Don McGill described the pairing as “the perfect match” while claiming that both he and the band were big fans of the show.
13 comes out on June 11th. The current lineup of Black Sabbath (which features Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler, but NOT drummer Bill Ward) will be touring Australia and Europe later this year. An American tour is supposedly in the works, but the band are keeping quiet about those plans for now.
