This August, the Outside Lands Festival returns to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco with a lineup that’s bigger and arguably better than it ever has been before. The bill for this year’s festival will be topped by Paul McCartney, who is currently making is way across the United States in preparation for a possible new album. Joining him will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers (we’re assuming Flea is taking a break from palling around with Thom Yorke), Nine Inch Nails, and Phoenix.
Other notable artists on the Outside Lands bill this year include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, Grizzly Bear, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Willie Nelson, Band of Horses, The Tallest Man on Earth, Trombone Shorty, Dawes, Gary Clark Jr., Kurt Vile, Smith Westerns, King Tuff, and Camper Van Beethoven.
Outside Lands takes place on August 9-11. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, April 18th, at 12 p.m. For more information, visit the Outside Lands website.
