The Beatles may be gone and over with, but you can still catch them on Broadway this summer in the production of Let It Be. Let It Be provides an account of the band’s rise to fame and will hit NYC’s St. James Theatre for a limited engagement. And of course, you can’t have a Beatles musical without some of those classic songs; Let It Be will feature a substantial catalog of 40 Beatles songs including hits like “Help!” and “Hey Jude.” The details on the cast and crew have yet to be announced, but Beatles fans and theater fans alike will be sure to be excited about this new production. The show debuted just last fall at the Prince of Wales Theater in London and is now running in the West End. Let It Be will begin previews in New York on July 16, and the opening night is set for July 24. Its run is expected to end on December 29.
