On their “50 And Counting” tour, the Rolling Stones have had a number of guests join them. The likes of Tom Waits, John Mayer, and Gary Clark Jr. have gotten onstage with Mick, Keith, and co. to perform some of the Stones’ classic songs. Now, we can add Dave Grohl to the list.
The head Foo Fighter joined the Stones onstage at the Honda Center in Anaheim to play “Bitch” (from 1971’s Sticky Fingers) in what was allegedly a surprise appearance. However, fans who follow the Stones’ Twitter account were clued in on Grohl’s appearance before the show. Regardless of whether it was a real surprise, Grohl fronting the Rolling Stones is a sight to behold.
Fortunately, an enterprising Stones fan in the front row was able to get some video of Grohl rocking out with the Stones. Check out the video below:
