Vampire Weekend knows how to throw the best dinner parties. In the band’s new video for “Diane Young,” an eclectic group of people gather at a long dinner table for a meal. But everyone’s engaging in all sorts of odd behavior, from using a saxophone as a bong to partying with balloons and confetti and glitter. A mysterious figure in a ski-mask sits in the center of the action. The video gathers all kinds of special guests, including Santigold, Sky Ferreira, Chromeo, Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser and Dirty Projectors’ Dave Longstreth. “Diane Young” is off of Vampire Weekend’s latest album, Modern Vampires of the City.
