Being in one legendary band would be enough for most people. Tommy Stinson is fortunate enough to belong to two legendary bands. The co-founder of the Replacements currently plies his trade as guitarist/bassist for Guns N’ Roses, and now-with the Replacements announcing their first shows in 22 years-Stinson’s about to get even busier. Fortunately for us, Stinson has managed to find time to play a couple of solo shows, including this stop in Brooklyn as the opener for Old 97’s. Old 97’s are great, but if there was ever an instance where the opener could be more worth your time than the headliner, this is it.
