Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. will be releasing a five-song solo EP this fall. Hammond also revealed on Har Mar Superstar’s Nocturnal Emotions podcast that his EP will be out on fellow Strokes band member Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records label. Hammond released his first solo album, Yours to Keep, in 2006 and followed it with 2008’s ¿Cómo te Llama? Hammond will be handling most of the instruments on the EP himself, but Matt Romano, who played drums on ¿Cómo te Llama?, and Gus Oberg will also be contributing. Hammond plans to release the new EP in September.
