Aretha Franklin has had to deal with a number of health issues this year that forced her to cancel several tour dates, so this bit of news is a nice thing to hear. The Associated Press reports that the Queen of Soul is undergoing a “miraculous” recovery, though she still won’t say what the nature of her health troubles were.

Franklin said that she wasn’t quite ready to return to the stage just yet, but she did ask for fans to pray for her “until I’m 100%-not 85%-and back on stage.” Franklin said she was looking forward to returning to the stage at Radio City Music Hall in February, but she wasn’t going to rush her recovery.

The most exciting announcement from Franklin, though, was that she was at work on a new album, her first in two years. “I can’t wait for that,” Franklin said. “They’re working on the tracks now.”
