Jeff Beck will be teaming up with Beach Boy Brian Wilson for a U.S. tour this fall. Fans of Beck and Wilson should both be equally pleased by the tour: “Brian will kick things off, but I’ll also be given enough time to establish what I’m about,” Beck told USA Today. “In the end, we’ll mix and match. It’s a complete honor to be on stage with him.” Beck also said that the tour will feature “classic surfing safari music and this weird stuff that I do.” But don’t worry about it getting too out of hand; Beck promises that “it will sound like it’s all of one accord.” Wilson had words of praise for Beck, saying that he “brings that great guitar-playing kind of thing to the picture.”

This isn’t the duo’s first collaboration; Beck and Wilson also teamed up on Wilson’s upcoming solo album. The  tour, which kicks off on Sept. 27 in Hollywood, FL., will also include Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks. Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 9 at www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com.
