In case you forgot, Pearl Jam is going to remind you of all the ways the world is messed up. The rock band returns with their new video for “Mind Your Manners,” the first single from their upcoming album, Lightning Bolt.
The video, which is directed by Danny Clinch, shows the band performing in front of a screen that projects a variety of disasters including fires, wars, nuclear bombs and pollution, among others. Need reminders of 9/11, global warming and Hurricane Sandy? Well, you’ve got them.
You can check out Pearl Jam when they hit the stages for their upcoming North American tour. The tour will kick off on Oct. 11 in Pennsylvania and conclude on Dec. 6 in Washington. They’ll be playing two shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Oct. 18-19. They’ll also be headlining at the Voodoo Music and Arts Experience in New Orleans in November. Lightning Bolt is set for release on Oct. 15. You can watch the video for “Mind Your Manners” below.
