Muse fans recently got to see the British rockers at the popular iHeartRadio in Las Vegas this weekend, but after their Austin City Limits appearance next month, the band may not be hitting the stage for a while. “Next year, we may do one festival or two, but we’re probably going to concentrate on getting into a new album,” Matthew Bellamy told Rolling Stone.
However, Muse fans can still see the band hit the stage in a new concert film. “Over the summer, we played this massive gig in Rome Olympic Stadium; that was probably the best gig of the year,” Bellamy said. But Muse won’t be settling for any old concert film. You can expect some super sharp visuals to let you see the band up close and personal. “It’s gonna come out in 4K, which is the highest resolution concert ever shot. It’s four times more powerful than HD, so it’s like ridiculous detail. When you see the concert being filmed, you can see all the crowd, you can see their faces being filmed.” The release plans have not yet been made, but Bellamy expects a limited U.S. release.
