The Arctic Monkeys go rural in their new video for “One for the Road.” In the black-and-white video, directed by Focus Creeps, guitarist Jamie Cook brings cool to a whole new level by driving tractors through the dusty and grassy landscape without even mussing up his sharp three-piece suit. The guys, all dressed to the nines (and frontman Alex Turner dressed to the tens with his over-the-top suit and pompadour), play their instruments and shoot fireworks in the middle of nowhere as models sing and pose nearby.
“One for the Road” comes from the band’s fifth album, AM, which came out last month. The song will be released as a single on Dec. 10, and the band will embark on a short North American tour of the Midwest and West Coast following the release. The seven-inch edition of the release will come with an exclusive new B-side, “You’re So Dark.” You can watch the Arctic Monkeys’ video for “One for the Road” below.
