If you’re going to be in Atlanta in January, make room in your schedule for “All My Friends: Celebrating the Songs and Voice of Gregg Allman,” a star-studded tribute to the 65-year-old star. The event will take place at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on Jan. 10.
Prepare for fantastic performances and “once-in-a-lifetime collaborations” from acts including the Allman Brothers Band, Jackson Browne, Natalie Cole, Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Warren Haynes, John Hiatt, Sam Moore, Taj Mahal, Keb’ Mo’, Martina McBride, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Widespread Panic and more. Popular producer Don Was will be the show’s musical director. As though this list of participants isn’t long enough, there will be surprise special guests and additional performers announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 1. If you won’t be able to get out to Atlanta for the show, it will be filmed and recorded for a future release. For more information, check out the event website.
