It seems like it was just yesterday when we were enjoying the sweet sights and sounds of the South by Southwest Music Festival, but next year’s fest is fast approaching. The organizers of SXSW are already starting to announce what great acts you can expect to see during next year’s festival, which will take place from March 11-16. Some of the artists that have been announced in the initial lineup include Los Lonely Boys and young singer/songwriter Jessica Lea Mayfield. The initial list already names 183 artists from all around the world who are slated to perform, but they are only a small percentage of the over 2,000 artists who will end up hitting the stage at the event. Some of the big-name performers who graced the stages at this year’s SXSW included Iggy & the Stooges, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Prince, among others. In addition to the early lineup announcement, you should also check out some of the music panels that have been announced.
