If you like your rock and roll as fuzz-laden and scuzzy as possible, you’re probably going to like Thee Oh Sees a whole lot. The San Francisco psych-rock quartet, led by prolific songwriter John Dwyer, have been through a number of incarnations in their relatively short history, but this go-round might be the sweetest yet for the group. Their latest album, Floating Coffin, is a considerable leap forward for the group, pushing their raucous noise to the brink and finding some new subtleties in the band’s style. Having said that, don’t expect the band to keep themselves quiet when they hit 285 Kent Avenue, the Williamsburg venue with a reputation for hosting Brooklyn’s craziest parties. Just because it’s a Sunday night doesn’t mean that you can’t get a little nuts.
