Bruce Springsteen’s next album may be coming sooner than you think. Billboard reports that the Boss has a new studio album ready for release in January of next year. The supposed first single from the album, “High Hopes,” is going to come out on November 25th.
Springsteen debuted “High Hopes” – a cover of a song written in 1990 by The Havalinas – earlier this year during his Australian tour, where he played the song alongside Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine. At the time, Springsteen made a few comments about having a recording session while down under, and it’s possible that he may have recorded an album while down there.
Springsteen’s last album, Wrecking Ball, came out in 2012.
