We’ve been fans of Dana Fuchs for a while, and it’s easy to see why. The soulful singer’s powerful pipes have earned her comparisons to everyone from Mick Jagger to Janis Joplin, but there’s a lot more to Dana than just mere imitation. Take, for example, her new album Bliss Avenue: writer Steve Walbridge praised the album’s collection of hard-driving rock ‘n’ roll and tender ballads all buoyed by Fuchs’ unmistakable voice. Fuchs takes her fantastic to New York’s SubCulture on this night for an intimate, acoustic show highlighting the best of Bliss Avenue and a few more of her favorites. You can purchase tickets here. See you there!
