The Hold Steady are back from a four-year hiatus with a new label to call home and a new album on the way. Teeth Dreams, the band’s sixth full-length, is set to come out on March 25th on the Washington Square imprint.
Produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains), Teeth Dreams is the first album the band have put out since their 2010 effort Heaven Is Whenever. The album also marks the first recorded appearance of new Hold Steady member and former Lucero guitarist Steve Selvidge.
While they haven’t released a full album in a while, the Hold Steady haven’t necessarily been…holding steady. (So sorry for that.) The band also recorded an EP of covers to raise money for the K+L Guardian Foundation, and frontman Craig Finn released a solo album titled Clear Heart Full Eyes in 2012.
