Prolific singer/songwriter Conor Oberst has announced the release date of his new album, Upside Down Mountain and revealed a new single “Hundreds of Ways.” He previously talked about the development of the country-influenced album.
The album is being produced by Jonathan Wilson, who has worked with Dawes and Father John Misty. Swedish Folk duo First Aid Kit contributed vocals to the album as well.
“Hundreds of Ways” will be released as a limited edition 7″ in support of Record Store Day, which will take place April 29. Oberst will kick off a tour with Dawes May 8 in Saxapahaw, N.C. Notable dates include the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Ala. on May 16 and Central Park SummerStage July 29.
