David Crosby has postponed a sold-out run of shows on the West Coast after undergoing heart surgery last night. The singer expects to be back on the road by March.
According to a statement releasedto the press, Crosby underwent a cardiac catheterization to clear a blocked coronary artery. Though the surgery was successful and Crosby is expected to make a full recovery, several dates on his sold-out solo tour will have to be rescheduled.
“I’m very glad that I listened to my doctors and my family. It seems that I am once again a very lucky man,” Crosby said in a statement. “I’m sorry to have to move the dates, but I promise the music will be good when we do play them.”
