The Grammy drama continues, even two weeks after the Jan. 26 ceremony. Queens of the Stone Age’s frontman Josh Homme unleashed a tirade against the awards ceremony, the band Imagine Dragons, the man and everything.
The band performed the Grammy’s finale with Nine Inch Nails, Lindsey Buckingham and Dave Grohl, but the performance was cut short, sparking a brief outrage.
At last night’s concert at Houston’s Bayou Music Center, Homme lashed out at Imagine Dragons, who also took home the Grammy for Best Rock Performance, beating out Queens of the Stone Age.
“This next song is by Imagine Dragons,” Homme said, to the jeering audience. “Just fucking kidding,” he added.
Continuing, Homme named several entities he has beef with: “You know, fuck everything, fuck the man, fuck Imagine Dragons, fuck the Grammys, fuck all this shit.”
He then launched into “I Appear Missing” from the band’s 2013 release …Like Clockwork.
You can see Homme’s tirade and “I Appear Missing” (in its entirety) here. Needless to say, it has some not-safe-for-work language:
