Outlaw country singer/songwriter Nikki Lane is set to followup her 2011 album Walk of Shame with All or Nothin’, set for a May 6 release date. The album, which will be produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, will feature more of the same blunt, unapologetic lyrics that marked Walk of Shame.
Lane, who was born in South Carolina, moved to New York City and then ended up in Nashville, recorded the album at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studios. Auerbach duets with Lane on the track “Love’s On Fire.”
Lane will also launch an extensive tour, beginning with Willie Nelson’s Heartbreaker Banquet concert during the SXSW Music Festival. She’ll later open for the Whigs and Old 97’s in April and May.
You can hear the first single from the album, “Right Time,” here.
