The 2014 Official Monkees Convention will be held from March 14-15 at the Hilton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ. Guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Michael Nesmith will be making his first-ever convention appearance, along with the surviving members of the band, Peter Tork and Mickey Dolenz (Davy Jones died in 2012).

A host of other celebrities from the Monkees era are slated to appear as well, including Bobby Hart (who, along with Tommy Boyce, wrote many of the Monkees’ songs, including “Last Train to Clarksville”), the author of The Monkees: The Day-By-Day Story of the 60s TV Pop Sensation, Andrew Sandoval, Circe Link and the Christian Nesmith Band, Donna Loren, among others. The Monkeemobile will also make an appearance. 

The convention will also feature musical performances, movie screenings, autograph and photo sessions and question and answer sessions.
