New York has its answer to Bonnaroo and Coachella, and what an answer it is. The Governors Ball returns to Randall’s Island for a fourth year and its biggest lineup yet. Outkast, Jack White, and The Strokes top a bill that includes the likes of Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Interpol, Spoon, TV On The Radio, Neko Case, Frank Turner, Jason Isbell, Kurt Vile, Skaters, and many more. After rain and mud marred the experience for many festivalgoers last year, there’s a hope for a bounce back in 2014. They certainly picked the right group of musicians to make that happen.
