The long-awaited new album from the Foo Fighters has a release date in sight…well, a release month, at least. The as-yet-untitled album from Dave Grohl and company is set to see a release in November through Roswell/RCA.
As has been previously announced, the album will be preceded by an HBO documentary series chronicling the recording of the album. The series will follow the band as they travel to eight different studios in eight different cities in the United States in an attempt to infuse the band’s songs with local character. To do this, the band invited local music legends to sit in with the band on the album’s songs: confirmed guests include Gary Clark, Jr. and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen.
