What can you say about a man who became a master musician by the time he turned 21? Ricky Skaggs is a legend in roots and bluegrass music, and he’s still going strong at age 60. Over the years, he’s played with everyone from Bill Monroe and Earl Scruggs to Phish and The Raconteurs. Skaggs still tours with the intensity of performers half his age, and his latest trek has him stopping in Nashville for a series of Bluegrass nights at the legendary Ryman Auditorium. The last of these nights features Skaggs alongside Kentucky Thunder, and we’re sure he’s going to go out with a bang. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Ryman Auditorium website.
