Following a 15 year hiatus, The Kinsey Report is back and ready to rock. Indiana’s “first family of the blues,” comprised of brothers Donald (vocals, guitar), Ralph (drums, vocals) and Kenneth (bass, vocals), the trio performed with their late father Lester as Big Daddy Kinsey and the Kinsey Report throughout the 80’s and 90’s, garnering huge success among traditional and contemporary blues audiences. The reunion comes at a good time, says bassist Kenneth Kinsey. “I am very happy and pleased that we’re gonna be part of the blues landscape that is out there. It is a different landscape now, ever evolving and moving forward.” The Kinsey Report will be playing B.B. King’s on August 4th. Tickets are available through the B.B. Kings website and a full tour list can be found on the band’s official website.
