It seems that each year brings new fans to Loudon Wainwright III. The eccentric singer-songwriter’s work has always garnered a cult following, but his recent string of excellent albums has won him more and more listeners, and the streak is likely to continue this year with the excellent Haven’t Got The Blues (Yet). Wainwright is celebrating with a tour that brings him to the Levitt Pavilion in Los Angeles’ MacArthur Park. Wainwright’s shows are always a real treasure–his sense of humor flows freely through his music–and this show is a freebie, so LA music lovers really don’t have much of an excuse to miss this one.
