After two successful years, the CBGBs Music & Film Festival is coming back to New York City for a third go-round. This year’s CBGBs Fest will take place all across Manhattan from October 8th through October 12th.

“We continue to support emerging and established talent who represent music and film in all its forms,” CBGBs co-owner Tim Hayes said in a statement. “For us, music transcends space, and sharing it with fans in a unique form is something we are very passionate about.”

Last year’s festival included a massive, open-air free concert in Times Square featuring the likes of My Morning Jacket, Grizzly Bear, The Wallflowers, and Divine Fits, among others. The film portion of the festival included the theatrical premiere of 20 Feet From Stardom, the Darlene Love documentary that ended up winning Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards.
