Following a year of extensive touring, brothers Joseph and David Dunwell and cousins Robert Clayton and Jonny Lamb, aka the Dunwells, have returned with Show Me Emotion, a four-song EP, due out September 9. It is the Leeds, UK-based band’s first release since their debut album, Blind Sighted Faith (2012), and it finds the band in a brand new place with a shiny new sound. With a shared fondness for Bon Iver, Damien Rice and Elbow, the band looked to drop the Americana label bestowed on them following their debut.
Show Me Emotion marks the start of a new Dunwells sound. Dropping the acoustic sounds and delving deeper into raw, gritty territory, the EP’s title track achieves just what the band hoped for.

Almost hard to believe this was a country band before.Sounds good though, a lot like Kings of Leon.
