Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill was injured in a car accident this weekend, leading the band to postpone their show in Saratoga Springs, New York on Sunday night. The band’s representatives told Rolling Stone that Followill had suffered some broken ribs but that he was recovering well.
According to a statement issued by the band, they were driving back to their hotel from their show in Boston when they stopped short for a pedestrian in the street, injuring Followill. There is no word yet on when the band would reschedule their postponed show in Saratoga Springs, though refunds are being given to ticket holders.
The band were also scheduled to play The Tonight Show on August 12th, but there has yet to be any word on whether or not that is still happening. As of right now, the band’s tour–which includes a headlining spot on the Jay-Z-curated Made In America Festival in Philadelphia–is still on.
