Lee Bains and his band specialize in the sort of scuzzy hard rock that was made for big drinks and wild nights. Taking equally from southern rock and garage rock, Lee adds the icing on the cake with his unmistakable voice, which oozes soul rather than blind aggression. We’ve seen the band before when they came through New York City, and we certainly had a good time. Now, Chicago’s going to get the same experience when the Glory Fires come to the Empty Bottle.
