Bass & Mandolin, the much anticipated second second album from mandolinist Chris Thile and bassist Edgar Meyer is due out September 9th. Thanks to WNYC Soundcheck, fans can now stream the album in its entirety until its release.

After release day, these dueling Grammy winners/MacArthur “Genius Grant” recipients will take their show on the road through October, at least. Thile and Meyer have been hitting the road together on and off for the last 15 years, while Bass & Mandolin is their second collaborative album, following 2008’s Edgar Meyer & Chris Thile.
